This work focuses on a general reflection on the need to problematize, to different degrees, some concepts related to the notion of Literature as a universal and defined term. In this sense, the notions of limit and infinity are discussed as ways of conceptualizing the sets and subsets that contain the concept of global literature. This Emphasizes the need for an interpretation that can go to the origin in literary history and at the same time, can maintain the demand for a reading of texts considered literary, which operates naively, that is, assumes the abstraction with which it observes , "read allowing the poem to remain pure". For such an operation, an attempt is made to read and interpret the Odyssey épos from the aforementioned perspective, suggesting a revision of the poem that has been taken for granted as a story of return, in turn, it is proposed to read the Odyssey as a poem that contains its own interpretation, as a poem of hospitality, vision and reading in broad terms.
