The articulation with secondary education program is a national government program led by SENA and the Ministry of Education, which allows secondary education students to graduate with two degrees: the first that accredits them as high school graduates and secondly, as SENA technicians, which allows them to strengthen their labor competences and offers opportunities in the country's productive sector. The Center for the Technological Development of Construction and Industry (CDTCI) of the Quindio Regional, is articulated with 7 Educational Institutions of the department of Quindio in the Systems Technician and Maintenance of computer Equipment Technician. These programs have technical competences in the area of data networks that require activities in the implementation of structured cabling, configuration and management of interconnection equipment, which are not carried out due to the lack of infrastructure, materials, tools and equipments in the Educational Institutions. Additionally, their data networks cannot be used for practical purposes since they have restrictions on their access. Therefore, SENA instructors are required to bring the equipment, tools and training materials to the Educational Institutions to be able to carry out the practices, an option that in many cases is not the best due to the difficult transportation of these and for safety. For this reason, a modular trainer has been designed that allows it to be easily disassembled and assembled for easy transportation where structured cabling and data network configuration and management practices can be implemented.
