Resumen
Esta investigación buscó comprender el desarrollo del pensamiento social,
develando las habilidades cognitivo-lingüísticas y las dimensiones de la realidad social a
través de la aplicación de una unidad didáctica en Ciencias Sociales sobre la explotación
minera con los estudiantes de 4to semestre de la Institución Educativa Escuela Normal
Superior la Inmaculada de Guapi. La investigación se abordó desde el paradigma de
investigación cualitativa; el diseño de investigación como estudio de caso, y como técnicas
e instrumentos se recurrió a la observación participante y el diario de campo.
Dentro de las conclusiones se encontró que: poseen habilidades cognitivo
lingüísticas como describir, justificar, argumentar y explicar evidenciadas en el desarrollo
de las diferentes actividades propuestas durante el desarrollo de la unidad didáctica.
En cuanto a las dimensiones de la realidad social las cuales son la multicausalidad,
la intencionalidad, y la relatividad los estudiantes explicaron cómo el uso de la minería
afecta social, económica y físicamente la población; dando diversas razones sobre el cómo,
el por qué y el para qué de la minería en la comunidad de Guapi.
Finalmente, se logró la reflexión sobre la práctica docente a la luz de los
fundamentos de la misma en relación al rol del docente, rol del estudiante, los contenidos y
la evaluación.
This research seeks to understand the development of social thought, revealing the linguistic cognitive abilities and the dimensions of social reality through the application of a teaching unit in Social Sciences on mining exploitation with students of the 4th semester of the Normal Higher Educational Institution the Immaculate Guapi. Methodologically, qualitative research was addressed; research design (case study); and as techniques and instruments, participant observation and the field journal were used. Among the conclusions were found that: they have linguistic cognitive skills such as describing, justifying, arguing and explaining evidenced in the development of the different activities proposed during the development of the teaching unit. As for the dimensions of social reality which are multicausality, intentionality, and relativity, the students explained how the use of mining affects the population socially, economically, and physically; giving various reasons on how, the why and why of mining in the community of Guapi. Finally, the reflection on the teaching practice was achieved in light of the foundations of it in relation to the role of teacher, role of the student, contents and evaluation
