The body is the set of signs in which the human being inhabits and develops relationships with others in their different contexts, which leads to reflection on the presence of this in terms of space-time, where discourses and messages are constructed. That emerge from this structure called the body in Colombian culture. According to the postulations of semiotics and sociologists such as Enrique Finol, Erving Goffman and Yuri Lotman and research on the body in Colombia by authors such as Cabra and Escobar, among others, from whom the keywords of their works are taken, are defined, analyzed, and eventually related to the current situation of the country, as social, cultural, and political aspects with the purpose of identifying how the body intervenes in the contexts and vice versa. As a result of this analysis, the body contains different polyphonies within the Colombian social context, linked to the times, fashion, ethnicities, beliefs and/or worldviews of the world in which the subjects develop. This gives way to the semiology of the body, where the history of a subject is identified through their experiences, interests, and struggles, based on their clothing, scars, particular objects, ways of living and expressing their bodily styles. Therefore, it is considered that the bodies in Colombia, being a multicultural society, converge between them; however, in some cases, these bodies come into conflict, which leads to disregard of the other and to the other, then their actions and the meanings that the subjects have in their environment are delegitimized.
