The present research work includes the creation of a proposal for a program of good agricultural practices for the cultivation of coffee in the Sinaí farm located in the corregimiento of Arabia, jurisdiction of the municipality of Pereira, Risaralda; where this proposal will allow the adaptation of an inefficient coffee production model towards a model that generates greater profitability, as well as a positive impact on the agroecosystem, which together favors an improvement in the quality of life of the people involved in the production process and increasing the added value of the product. To carry out the research work, which was characterized as a proactive descriptive work, two key stages were established, which were in a first stage the establishment of an environmental baseline that allowed characterizing the production process and all the social and environmental factors. that influence the intervened agroecosystem and in a second stage, after knowing the current state in terms of what corresponds to the production process and its context situations, the characteristics applicable to the BPA model for the farm were established. Sinai, for this, the review of ICA resolution 030021 of 2017 was carried out, as well as the ICA manual of good agricultural practices and the checklist attached to the resolution; In addition to this, a field investigation process was carried out that allowed evaluating the current conditions of the farm with respect to the technical requirements necessary for certification in BPA in order to have a point of comparison of a real scenario and a scenario bet to which to arrive. With the environmental baseline, the characteristics applicable to the BPA model and the non-conformities in the production process based on the scenario set for certification, strategic management guidelines were established, embodied in lines of action that included social and environmental aspects, giving a framework of action in terms of the different needs and adjustments to the production process and what is related to the integration of the agroecosystem with the environment and likewise the social factors associated with the coffee framework, all this in order to generate a transition of a process productivity of the inefficient coffee tree to one with the possibility of certification.
