Due to the lack of extracurricular activities, scholar resources, and innovative proposals to bilingual education development; the purpose of this project, was to know the emotional and linguistic effects through the implementation of a translingual playful environment. The implementation was focusing on translangüaging as a pedagogical tool in an environment that articulates bilingual skills development and healthy recreation access. This is based on the use of students’ linguistic repertoire in a systematic and organized way. In addition, it integrated emotional intelligence (EI) aspects to know the participants improvement in skills that compose it. The study was carried out with a student group between 3rd to 5th grade from primary education in a public school of Pereira. Adopting the qualitative/descriptive type of investigation, it was used observation, field diary, and questionnaires to investigate the English and Spanish uses, and the changes in emotional awareness. In this way, it was demonstrated that games that incorporate emotions and reflective spaces help to improve skills to (a) interpret, (b) distinguish, (c) differentiate, (d) manage, and (e) assimilate the emotions. Also, it was found that English was used to (a) communicate with facilitators, (b) greet, (c) ask for information, (d) answer, and (e) say goodbye, and Spanish to (a) confirm the meaning, and (b) understand the content of English.
