Actualmente en Colombia se requiere reformar el mercado eléctrico con el fin de facilitar la integración de energías renovables no convencionales. Para esto, los entes encargados del sector eléctrico contratan diversos estudios para evaluar cuál es el paso a seguir, sin embargo, estos se quedan cortos a la hora de exponer sus propuestas en cuanto a mecanismos de liquidación.
Inicialmente se revisan las componentes del mercado eléctrico colombiano actual haciendo énfasis en sus comportamientos antes, durante y después de un día operativo, seguidamente se exponen las características de los distintos mecanismos de liquidación propuestos para la actualización del mercado eléctrico.
Currently in Colombia it is required to reform the electricity market in order to facilitate the integration of non-conventional renewable energies. For this, the entities in charge of the electricity sector contract various studies to evaluate what is the next step, however, these fall short when it comes to presenting their proposals in terms of settlement mechanisms. Initially, the components of the current Colombian electricity market are reviewed, emphasizing their behavior before, during and after an operating day, then the characteristics of the different settlement mechanisms proposed for updating the electricity market are exposed.
